Can peer-to-peer file sharing and distributed version control be combined in some interesting way?
Low hanging fruit:
* Robustness if a parent repository goes down or has poor bandwidth.
* Entirety of the repository is spread out among many children; no one needs to check out the whole thing.
* (But I believe far more clever things can be done.)
Are these technologies being thwarted by the chilling effect of MGM v Grokster and Arista v Lime? (Copyright infringement)
