Create a mural which gets painted very slowly. The public gets to watch it develop over time.

The subject is a live go 囲碁 game being played very slowly.  Maybe 1 move a month for 20 years.

Maybe prominent human players, or computer programs calculating constantly.

If a program, use open source so that the reasoning for any particular move can always be reconstructed.  It's too bad that the difficult moves are toward the beginning, whereas computers will become more powerful toward the end when the outcome is likely already clear.
