Cheyenne Mountain, a military base constructed inside a mountain, is typically thought of as the ultimate protection against nuclear attack. So it might come as a surprise that it can be destroyed by "nuclear bunker buster" bombs, bombs that have been built and tested and likely exist in the arsenal of nuclear powers.
According to Wikipedia, the mountain is rated up to 30 megatons. The Soviet Union's Tsar Bomba was 50 megatons, after being downscaled for testing purposes. Modern iterations of bunker busting bombs have lower energy but are designed to direct that energy into the ground instead of an air burst.
30 megatons is like hitting the same spot with a Hiroshima-sized bomb 2000 times in a row.
Depict in fiction Cheyenne Mountain being successfully attacked and destroyed, subverting the common misconception.
