Recent versions of Android offer the ability to encrypt the entire tablet or phone. This is a killer app to upgrade in my opinion.
Unfortunately, it's not hardware encryption like the iPhone has, so an offline attack is possible without having to dissassemble and X-ray the crypto chip.
