Is there any reason that the constant c in Maxwell's equations, defining the speed of light, has the same value as the constant c in Einstein's theory of relativity, defining a "conversion rate" between space and time?
What experiment can show if there is a difference?
Why should the gravitational force and the electromagnetic force be linked? What would the universe be like if the constants were not the same value?
That Maxwell's equations should be the same in all inertial reference frames inspired relativity.
