[aufmotcz] Self-inflicted immigration problem

We face constant pressure of illegal immigrants from 3rd world countries at our borders seeking a better life here.  However, a cynical look at our international policy especially in the Americas (e.g., Monroe Doctrine) sees us meddling with foreign affairs to make sure they stay 3rd world countries, to maintain the United States' 1st world advantage.

There's a saying you can measure a country by comparing the number of people outside wanting to come in, versus the number inside wanting to get out.  However, meddling seems like cheating.
