[nfmjdzub] Asymmetric benefits of a community

A person joins a community, and the community benefits; in particular, some other people in the community benefit.  It isn't necessarily the case that the person who joined also benefits, in which case they leave.

Sometimes some sort of benefit redistribution could help, if it is a positive-sum game.

Need to keep recruiting new members to replace those to leave, touting the cases of those who did benefit in advertising.  But it should make you suspect any sort of recruiting to join a community.

Pyramid scheme
