[cwsfogey] Nesting levels by color

Consider writing computer programs with nesting levels, or blocks, designated by coloring the text rather than indentation. Code will be formatted like prose. The user should memorize a sequence of colors corresponding to indentation levels, perhaps the colors of the rainbow. We probably still want syntax highlighting, perhaps underlines, boldface, italics, or boxes, for declarations and reserved words.

Need newspaper-style columns: don't let the lines become too wide or the eye can't keep track of what's on what line. Line spacing will help.
