I'm beginning to suspect that the concept of promiscuity being shameful, i.e., "slut", is a social construct far more harmful than conventionally believed. It may be the root cause of most of society's sexual problems, maybe even a great many of its seemingly nonsexual problems. (E.g., love solves conflict.)
When has the notion affected your thoughts and actions?
Although currently deeply engrained in our thought processes, it seems tantalizingly fixable in a few generations. But how?
