[betcrgpz] Remakes with female leads

Let it be that a movie does not enjoy "derivative work" copyright protection against a remake with a lead character's gender reversed.  For example, if you want to remake a movie with the hero as a woman instead of a man, you can't be stopped by claims of copyright infringement, even if you otherwise use the same shot-for-shot camera work, same dialogue, music, etc.

Inspired by the Bechdel test, creating a copyright exemption in hopes of balancing an inequality in society.

There's a bit of an unsolved devilish detail about how to avoid a second remake which flips the gender again, resulting in the original.  Another might be if the original studio copyrights both versions, but putting almost no effort into the female one.
