China is a vast country, in geographic area, diversity of people, and history.
This probably means that anything you might think is unique to your land, culture, etc., there probably is (or has been at some point in its past) a Chinese equivalent of it. A country like that has probably done everything, seen everything.
Original inspiration: What is the Chinese equivalent of the KFC Double Down "sandwich"? The obvious answer is, "the KFC Double Down sandwich", as KFC is big at least in Beijing, but I suspect someone somewhere in China has already put cheese and bacon in between two fried chicken breasts long before KFC thought of it.
Conversely, the American concept of "Chinese" food probably is a minuscule sliver of their entire cuisine.
