While with weaker copyright, it's likely (but not certain) that we'll spend less money on entertainment (i.e., the entertainment industry will make less money), it is a much greater leap to suggest we'll be less entertained -- less happy. I don't think we'll be less entertained.
The entertainment industry's arguments of financial implosion shouldn't carry much weight.
