Yet another piece ability for fairy chess: a piece may have momentum. On the next move, the piece must travel the same direction as the previous move modified by a small delta. In this way, a piece may accelerate over many moves, but the opponent has a good idea of where the piece will be in the near future.
More than one piece may move on a turn, if they all have momentum.
If a piece cannot decelerate fast enough to avoid hitting the edge of the board, then it dies.
