[bwkdxdgt] Real world totalitarian drama

Create a totalitarian story, like 1984, hopefully a live-action show for extra creepy effect, that takes place in this real world.  Every surveillance power, from obtaining data from Famous search engine or Famous social networking site, to all the data collected by (quasi-) government agencies (e.g., Subway passes), to all surveillance cameras, corresponds exactly to real surveillance devices and demonstrated practices now.  One of the quirks of the show can be zoom shots of actual surveillance cameras people walk by every day.

The only difference between fact and fiction are that the people are different, perhaps more corruptible in using and abusing the data.

The plot is the antagonist seeks to destroy the protagonist's life.

This was inspired by bad examples of surveillance and computer technology and techniques on TV crime dramas.  The real world is scarier.
