Perhaps because I had been thinking about pi so much recently, I had a dream that the Chudnovsky brothers had struck back, again with another one of their home-built supercomputers, shattering Bellard's record, calculating pi to 776 trillion digits. I remember feeling shocked in the dream by the tremendous leap (from 2.7 trillion) as I read about the result online.
I don't know why my brain came up with that number.
