Bug database part of open source

So many open source changelogs and commit messages refer to bug numbers in the project's bug database. Thus, in order to be able to understand the source code, one needs to be able to look at, and ideally dump, the project's bug database.

You might be interested in systems like Bugs Everywhere, which store bug data revision-controlled alongside the source code.
