[mnuzbcxk] Supercube mod

What is the simplest way to modify a Rubik's cube (etc.) into a supercube (center orientation matters)? Permanent marker rubs off easily.  Custom stickers require effort.

Maybe cutting off part of stickers or scratching a stickerless.
