[tsicyoyd] Kramnik vs Kramnik

A round robin chess tournament with an odd number of participants has the advantage that every player can have an equal number of whites and blacks (I think).

The "bye" player is asked to "play against himself or herself", that is, present a game of their own composition (perhaps composed in situ).  This allows theoretical novelties to be introduced, as well as intensely entertaining games.  Considerable prizes are awarded for doing a good job.
