by some estimates, the U.S. directly killed 900,000 Muslims in the War on Islam ("Terror") after 9/11.  (many more if indirect deaths are counted, but none of those totals reach the magic 6 million mark.)  if 900,000 people were packed into the World Trade Center towers, how crowded would it be?

rough calculation: 110 floors * 2 towers * footprint area 1 acre / 900000 people = 10.6 ft^2 per person, or a square with side length 3 foot 3 inch (1 meter).

go to the WTC site, mark out an area (does not need to be 1 acre), pack demonstrator people at the above density, then imagine extrapolating your demonstration to the area of the memorial building footprints at the site and to the roof (not spire) height of the new WTC (Freedom Tower).  (the new WTC was designed to have the same roof height (1368 ft) as the old towers, then added a spire to make it supposedly 1776 ft tall total.)
