[qqtbtufm] One dimensional art

Artists make a broad distinction between 2D and 3D art.

What are some examples of 1D art?

A dot is zero dimensional art.  Add the time dimension and you get 1D.  A dot changing color or brightness over time: pulse width modulation.

Knots on a string: Incan quipu.

Beads on a string.

Written text is arguably 1D: the content is linear.  Certainly if written in Morse code.
